CHABLAIS Labradors is owned by Jean-Louis Blais and Madeleine Charest since 1979. We are recognized to be one of the best Labrador Retrievers breeders in the world . We are located in Saint-Gilles, near Quebec City, Canada.
We breed Top Quality Champions Labrador Retrievers in the three official colors: Black, Yellow and Chocolate
Health, Beauty (conformity to the Official Standard) and true labrador temperament mean a lot to us.
We are active in Labradors Championships , All Breeds and Specialties both in Canada and in United States.We have produced more than 155 Canadian Champions , more than 35 American Champions and many champions in other countries like Philippines ., Bermuda, Germany , China, France, Netherlands, Japan, Mexico, Thailand, Salvador, Argentina, Indonesia, Spain, Finland, England, Italy and many more countries etc…You can see our kennel name in the Labrador pedigrees of the best international breeders
We have been blessed to win BOB at LRC of Potomac (the biggest Labradors show in the world) three (3) times; in 2000 with Casey, in 2004 with John Kaffe and in 2008 with Joss. We have also won the American National and many times the Canadian National
We have also produced labs with obedience and hunting titles and so many wonderful companions for the family.
Jean-Louis Blais & Madeleine Charest are international judges. Madeleine is approved for Labrador Retrievers. Jean-Louis is approved by CKC for Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (permit), 6 and 7. He is also approved by AKC and FCI We are life members of the Canadian Kennel Club, the Labrador Retriever Club of Canada, Le Club du Labrador du Quebec and La Societe Canine de Quebec
